An Engagement of Lavender and Caramel

Let the purple and gold celebrations begin! The following event was an engagement party done at the clients house, where the whole venue was transformed into a purple haze with gold accents here and there. The first area was filled with gold seating  and a mini kosha (mini stage done for the bride and groom) for a ceremony of wearing the ring in front of the guests. Then,  the couple moved to their next kosha which was set  inside the tent, that had the dining tables around.Lavender colored flower centerpieces in high cylinder vases were placed on the dining table to make it easier for the guest to socialize. The lounging sofas had caramel colored pillows to bring out the gold theme.Below are some of the captions we took just before the guests arrived.
The tent getting prepped, fluffed and chandeliered, before the function begins...

The pillow shaped cake was the main attraction, that was made to match the whole theme of purple and gold.

Once the cake ceremony was done, guest were ready to dance the night away on our built-in dance floor...

Baby delivery re-invented

"Baby Girl", the words that just makes your imagination run wild with ideas for a baby hospital room. Our client requested four main colors: pink ,peach ,green and gold. Enchanted Garden with cages scattered what the whole theme revolved around. The client's giveaways had a rose printed on them, so we added that accent to the whole theme.Feast your eyes with the following images of the event....

The entrance was filled with encased branches of phalaenopsis orchids, baby roses and baby breaths. Following it were an assortment of different sized cages with individual orchids within them.

The other end of the hallway had a set of shelves that have the giveaways wrapped and ready to picked up by the guests.

The giveaways were wrapped in two types of custom-made gift-wrapping with a tag of the baby girl's name on it, just to keep the guests wondering which one holds a better gift in it...

The whole area was filled with customised rose printed pillows that fit the color scheme and rose shape.

Louise armchairs were the choice of seating that fit well with the theme of the event. Mini hydrangea bowls were dispersed around the baby suite.

Guests were served with rose themed trays, tailor-made for our clients. All trays were either rose shaped or printed. The star tray was the cake pop tray that had rose engravings on the side.

Rose!Rose!Rose! Side tables, tiered trays, serving trays and coasters...

Planning Brangelina's Wedding

If you were a wedding planner for the Jolie-Pitts, what ideas would you choose and how will you execute it? Bearing in mind the uniqueness of this couple. Here are a couple of  ideas for a Brangelina wedding by concocting every detail that makes this couple's identity from the dress to the China to the stationery. The result of the vision roots  from the couple having movie careers, six kids and their involvement with international charities.
The Venue would be in the Chateau Miraval, which was bought by Brad and Angelina in the south of France. An out doors wedding  in its enchanted garden would look just divine.

The Lounge area will have contemporary styled sofas, with pillows that add just the right amount Brangelinaness if there was  an adjective as such. Jason Wu's line for pillows has the perfect combo of off white colored background with patches of black lace that compliments the couple's edgy taste.

The Bouquet of the bride would be white calla lilies,as its slender and chic, just like Angie's style on the red carpet. Given Angelina's slightly broody past, callas are sometimes associated with wakes and funerals.

The Centrepieces would be dark colored vases filled with white  flowers a la classic black -and-white elegance .To induce a bit of boldness, the dinnerware used would be that of Hèrmes collection of  Balcon du Guadalquivir, that combines French elegance with a dab of the extrinsic giving off an ambassadorial ambiance.

The Cake would be a macaroon tower filled with crispy and decadently cream filled macaroons instead of the traditional wedding cake.

The Stationery, Bernard Maisner, the fancy  decoration and old-fashioned gothic font with its blood-red wax seal are  at once bourgeois and mysterious just like the couple themselves.

The Menu, a reflection of their adopted children of Vietnamese and Cambodian origins. Asian /Cajun fusion that is deep fried and served on the impossibly fine china.

Brangelina's personal flair  would be embedded all over the wedding for their love of ebony, ivory and a touch of exoticism.

Bridal Party Bird Cages

Since the bridal show,we have been swamped with huge amount of bookings we had for engagement parties, decorating baby hospital rooms and more anticipation for fantasy weddings. However, we're back now with fresher ideas and party trends.

We love waking up to little birdies chirping outside our windows as we welcome summer.Pretty vintage style bird cages are our new obsession,it totally brings out a vintage , classy and elegant look suited for a Moroccan themes henna party or a "Secret Garden" inspired tea party.Silver cages give a more modern and refined, rustic coppery ones emphasize the vintage timeless look, while gold ones that are matte highlights the venue with a rich feel especially if it were filled with a beautiful white based floral arrangement.Below are some of the concepts that we've found interesting.
