A Splash of Color

While we enjoy the Eid festivities, we are still in celebration mode as we approach Halloween tomorrow. Here's a fun and quirky look you can wear on your face and have a limitless choices of outfits to go with it.

You can use paint, you can use powder, you can use creams. The makeup options are endless when it comes to coloring your face. This is a picture I came across and loved as it is very unique to your face, you are basically going wild with your makeup creating your very own masterpiece. With this look, you won't have to worry about anyone coming dressed as you.

As your face will be very colorful, keep the outfit subtle to keep the attention on your face, wear one color outfit in black, white, nude or pastels. And do go wild with your hair. Apply a little color on your arms and legs if they are bare.

If anyone asks what are you coming as, simply tell them I am a splash of color :)

Have a creepy Halloween!

A Leopard affair for R style abayas

Todays event we bring you a romantic rouge  leopard and black love affair. It was a launch for the new line of abayas  for R style. The main color palettes are leopard, black and red.

The Dubai Mall Lounge was the client's venue choice. The event was to showcase her line of formal abayas and to entertain potential buyers as well as her close family and friends.

To tone down the color scheme of leopard, we broke down the floral colors to yellow,  cumin yellow and burgundy. Black vases for the floral arrangements really brought out the vavavoom factor of the whole color scheme and gave it a sleek look to match the darkness of the abayas.

Custom made leopard pillows added something a little bit more personal to the event. Some of the pillows were plain square and some were oblong to lie perfectly next to the rest of the pillows. Gold mannequins complimented the darkness of the black abayas.

absolute events also created special tailor-made black headpieces to be placed on top of the mannequins. One was a huge black flower with different elements used for each petal and the other was mini black peonies with black tulle woven within it.

Guests were able to enjoy the seating area and view the latest collection of abayas.

To accent the sofas we added the leopard pillows made for the client.

A wreath-like headpiece with black peonies and tulle.

The mannequins were disperesed into two areas at the Dubai Mall Lounge.

This seating area was facing a hanger with the rest of the abayas that were not presented on the mannequins.

Leopard printed pillows with the clients logo, were made to match the lounge's color scheme.

Planning Brangelina's Wedding

If you were a wedding planner for the Jolie-Pitts, what ideas would you choose and how will you execute it? Bearing in mind the uniqueness of this couple. Here are a couple of  ideas for a Brangelina wedding by concocting every detail that makes this couple's identity from the dress to the China to the stationery. The result of the vision roots  from the couple having movie careers, six kids and their involvement with international charities.
The Venue would be in the Chateau Miraval, which was bought by Brad and Angelina in the south of France. An out doors wedding  in its enchanted garden would look just divine.

The Lounge area will have contemporary styled sofas, with pillows that add just the right amount Brangelinaness if there was  an adjective as such. Jason Wu's line for pillows has the perfect combo of off white colored background with patches of black lace that compliments the couple's edgy taste.

The Bouquet of the bride would be white calla lilies,as its slender and chic, just like Angie's style on the red carpet. Given Angelina's slightly broody past, callas are sometimes associated with wakes and funerals.

The Centrepieces would be dark colored vases filled with white  flowers a la classic black -and-white elegance .To induce a bit of boldness, the dinnerware used would be that of Hèrmes collection of  Balcon du Guadalquivir, that combines French elegance with a dab of the extrinsic giving off an ambassadorial ambiance.

The Cake would be a macaroon tower filled with crispy and decadently cream filled macaroons instead of the traditional wedding cake.

The Stationery, Bernard Maisner, the fancy  decoration and old-fashioned gothic font with its blood-red wax seal are  at once bourgeois and mysterious just like the couple themselves.

The Menu, a reflection of their adopted children of Vietnamese and Cambodian origins. Asian /Cajun fusion that is deep fried and served on the impossibly fine china.

Brangelina's personal flair  would be embedded all over the wedding for their love of ebony, ivory and a touch of exoticism.

A Parisian Bridal Shower to remember...

Ever dream of having a bridal getaway with your friends to Paris? ...or..... you can bring Paris to your bridal shower .absolute events will get you the brightest and latest ideas to have a perfect Parisian bridal shower with all of the cutest details covered. We have pink, ruffles, butterflies, backdrops, that are all coordinated within the design to get that Parisian feel with a modern twist by adding the color black to it.

The sophistication of the  buffet's backdrop with its butterflies and stripes makes this party fit for a fun girls night in. Having the food placed on different tiers also makes it visually appealing.Almost all food items are pink, even the popcorn!!!

Black candelabras have been chosen to elevate the cupcakes that have a paper wrapper that matches the Parisian theme. The straws have a pretty puckered lip on them.

To complement the whole theme, pink truffles with a white drizzle  and a black and white flag on top, in addition to an assortment of chocolate cupcakes with pink and white icing.

PINK LEMONADE!!!! Doesn't that remind you of your childhood? And its pastel hue really gives it a girly look.

Another buffet table could be set up with the white and pink striped paper as a  table cloth as opposed to being used as a backdrop. The drinks have also been stickered and labeled to match the whole theme of the party.

The appetizers are also French to keep the parisian feel together.Above is a photo of panko crusted french fries with parmesan and parsley and next to is mini quiche with creme fresh on top.

To add a little pizzaz to the party, cheese and crackers with a lil bit of l'huile d'olive (olive oil).

Some sparkly juice, that has a fancy bottle wrapper around it .The trays also have pink petals on them.

Large tissue fan decors can be hand made and hung on one of the empty walls of the venue. The pillows chosen also matched the theme of the party.

For gift giveaways, pink lip glosses with a hershey style wrapper around them, they are laid on a spoonful of pink candy.
