Flower fever!

If you're someone with a big personality, show it off on your wedding day! The flowers you pick say a lot about who you are, so perhaps roses are not always the way to go... here are some inspiring bouquets and arrangement ideas we love!

Lily of the Valley: delicate yet different!
Black Baccara roses... for the woman unafraid to be bold!

Anemones... with a depth of beauty!

Ombre bouquets, white for the bride and darkening for the bridesmaids.

Summer freshness... a mix of blooms for a gorgeous sherbet blend!

For the girl who loves green... a lovely earthy bouquet!

Decorate a gate with distinctive blooms!

And our ABSOLUTE favorite: Calla Lilies almost steal the show!

Bridal Party Bird Cages

Since the bridal show,we have been swamped with huge amount of bookings we had for engagement parties, decorating baby hospital rooms and more anticipation for fantasy weddings. However, we're back now with fresher ideas and party trends.

We love waking up to little birdies chirping outside our windows as we welcome summer.Pretty vintage style bird cages are our new obsession,it totally brings out a vintage , classy and elegant look suited for a Moroccan themes henna party or a "Secret Garden" inspired tea party.Silver cages give a more modern and refined, rustic coppery ones emphasize the vintage timeless look, while gold ones that are matte highlights the venue with a rich feel especially if it were filled with a beautiful white based floral arrangement.Below are some of the concepts that we've found interesting.

Our absolute Mothers day gift choice !

Its that time of the year where we celebrate and honor our mothers with gifts and flower arrangements. We came across a beautiful flower arrangement embedded with scrumptious morsel-sized cake pops.

The cake pops are encaged within the flower arrangements giving it a unique flair.

A message of "WE LOVE YOU MUM" is written on the delicious morsels, when you view it from the top.

A variety of cake pop flavors were assembled in a tasteful way in which they are clustered in the middle and some are left aside.
These amazing flower arrangements with cake pops can be ordered through Salt n Sugar Boutique

new winter theme ?

Most events that happen during winter usually have the same old theme, blue, grey, white and silver. But, you can achieve any atmosphere you create no matter the season. You can find inspiration in almost all different colors and patterns,

Having a pastel base and incorporating single flower arrangements can be fun and whimsical, depending on what feel your going for.

adding fruit to your bouquet

What a lovely idea from Martha Stewart to cluster blue-black privet berries that stand out against sweet peas, narcissus, and star-shaped ornithogalum in a charming bouquet tied with ivory grosgrain ribbon. Interesting since the hand held bouquet is  long overdue for a change.
