Deceive Your Own Eyes
We are
distinguished by our different features, yet we all contour them differently
which creates a different shape to their original one. Let’s talk about our
eyes today.
We will
focus on small eyes, many of us who are distinguished for their small eyes tend
to contour them to make them look bigger.
One cool way of doing so is by
contouring the outside corner of our eyes with a brown, navy blue or black eyeliner
in a V shape starting with the upper lashes down to the bottom lashes. Add a
flick for fun, and pencil in your waterline with white eyeliner for an extra
pop.
Try it to
love it!

Veiled!
Today, I want to talk about veils... I am sure to every bride, putting your veil on is one of the defining moments on your big day. As little girls, I am sure all of us dreamt of wearing a long cathedral veil with sparkles (of course) cascading over the shoulders leaving a beautiful trail of glitter and sparkles behind!
I would like to indulge my romantic side and show you gorgeous veils and how it revolutionised to become more than just an accessory.
The Statement Veil
We have noticed that layers of net and tulle have been making an appearance of late on the catwalks of Armani Couture and Alexander McQueen amongst others, so if you’re a fashion-conscious gal then you can rest assured that you’re being on trend.
The Birdcage
The birdcage style is a fantastic compromise for the bride that wants to wear a veil but doesn’t want to be subjected to the treacherous consequences of wearing a longer length.
Spanish Princess
Spanish veil is all about making a hopelessly romantic statement which just screams luxe at the same time.

Long & Luscious
There’s something utterly whimsical about a bride enveloped in a cascade of tulle or seeing it stretched out behind her.

Let There Be Light

Lighting plays a key role in setting the mood and ambiance of your wedding venue. When you envision your reception party setting, you’re probably imagining a scene filled with soft, romantic lighting that’s warm, inviting, and flattering. As far as the creation of lighting schemes goes, there are essentially three potential outcomes: too much, too little, or just right!
Whether you wedding is indoor or outdoor, lighting becomes such an important aspect of the venue design and theme. We have listed here some of our favourite ideas for lighting, some fun and super romantic idea schemes that will leave your guest in awe!

Smok’n Hot
Smoky eyes are the most
sought after look by many women, it doesn’t matter what color your hair is,
eyes, or complexion, smoky will work for you if you know how to wear it.
However, the hardest
application is for blonds as you got to be careful of the colors you choose not
to be too harsh on your natural colors. This is a great smoky eye example where
the colors have been softened using shades of navy blue, brown and black.
Notice also how the shadow extends just until the tip of the eyebrows and lots
of mascara coats have been applied for that extra drama!
Nude lips is the best sign
off for this look. Add some color to your cheeks and you are one smok’n hot gal
ready to go out.
